Resident Enrichment
We see each day as an opportunity to enrich our residents’ lives. By providing a range of activities and social outlets, every day stays interesting and engaging. For us, boredom is the worst thing of all, and we want to ensure our residents have plenty of facilities, activities and things to do to provide them with enjoyment and routine. We have a wide range of clubs and activities each day which work towards promoting movement, joy, and socialising amongst the other residents.
We also hold a number of seasonal events throughout the year, all of which are free for family members to attend and arrange day trips out within the local area.
Communal Areas
Throughout the day, residents have access to a number of communal rest areas where they can relax, read, play games or simply enjoy some socialising with other residents and enjoy the fantastic views. We have the conservatory and ballroom or for a completely peaceful and quiet place to escape, we have a library.
Gardens
At Brockhampton Court we have 10 acres of garden on site which residents are welcome to enjoy throughout the year. Dotted around the grounds you’ll find sculptures and a water fountain which create a tranquil and serene atmosphere. In addition, we have a wooden boat swing which is great for any children who may visit.
We have spent a lot of time investing in the landscaping and maintenance of the gardens. In the summertime you can enjoy croquet and afternoon tea in the sunshine under our gazebo or summer house.
Health & Beauty Care
Our team are dedicated to providing the best level of care possible and have completed training to provide our residents with a range of health and beauty services. These services include massages, Indian head massages and gel nails – these are all available at no additional cost to our residents.
If you require a haircut, we have an on-site salon, which is run by Debbie. Here you can receive a quality cut and style, at a modest price, in a relaxing and friendly environment.
Housekeeping
We have a large and dedicated team who complete all housekeeping and laundry within the residence. All rooms are cleaned and maintained throughout the day. In addition to our housekeeping team, we have an in-house Head Housekeeper who is available for any queries you have or if you have a specific requirement.
Accommodation
We have 46 rooms available for residents, the majority of which are single rooms. All rooms come with furnishings you require as standard, but unlike other establishments, we also provide TVs, telephone (with your own phone number), fast internet access and many more facilities – all within one price.
Thanks to our unique building, each room is a different shape and size with its own character and boasts beautiful views of our countryside surroundings.
Open Door Policy
During your stay with us, family members and friends are welcome to visit you whenever they like. We have an open-door policy meaning residents can come and go as they please, leaving the premises for days out, etc. We also welcome dogs to visit residents and we have lovely locations around the site to enjoy dog walks and fresh air. Unfortunately, we do not permit pets to stay at Brockhampton with our residents.
Life at Brockhampton Court
The beauty of life at Brockhampton Court is that you have the freedom to spend your day however you wish. Whilst we have times for activities and mealtimes throughout the day, residents have the freedom and flexibility to do whatever they want.
