Our care philosophy

For over 30 years we’ve been caring for those who need it. Although Brockhampton Court originally began as a care home for the elderly, our care extends to anyone who requires it – whether your stay is for a few weeks, to a few years. No matter who you are, or the reason you’re with us, our mission is always the same; to provide exceptional care. That’s our care philosophy.

A care home like no other

What sets us apart from other care homes is our reputation and the understanding and dedication we have to the care we provide. As soon as residents visit us for the first time, the warmth, laughter and friendliness of our team and residents is felt. It’s this atmosphere that helps residents to feel confident in staying with us – and provides peace of mind to their loved ones too. We want all residents to see our care home as their home, and our staff as family.

A care home that feels like home

We want potential residents to feel comfortable and confident in their decision to stay with us, which is why we offer short term stays. Become a resident for as little as two weeks, to get a real feel for how Brockhampton Court is run, meet with existing residents and the staff and experience for yourself what life is like at Brockhampton.

Frequently asked questions about Brockhampton Court

When visiting a resident, are visitors allowed to have meals on site?

Visitors are welcome to have meals with the residents in their rooms.

For palliative care residents, arrangements can be made to have a meal in the library. This should be arranged with as much notice as possible as we may need to carry out a detailed risk assessment, book the library, make arrangements with the kitchen and care workers and arrange for the room to be fogged after the visit. We do this to ensure the safety of all residents, visitors and staff.

Each meal will cost £12.00 per person. This will be added to the residents’ ‘extras’ bill.
